Sad news
In sad news, Shawn lost his paternal grandmother yesterday. There is a lot of sadness with this. She had suffered dementia in the last few years that was hard for all of us. However, every visit left us in good spirits as she was such a sweet lady. The day she met Evie for the first time, she was delighted. She also offered to buy our sweet little girl, we told her she was too expensive, but she told us she had $0.25 to give us. What a dear! That was my favorite visit. She was also quite in love with Shawn's dimples (which I always agreed were "cute") and referred to us as the "bone crunchers." She will be greatly missed by the entire A family.
