5:15 a.m: Toby and I meet my friend and walking partner, Rachel, for our Tuesday morning walk to H. Park. Normally only a 45 minute walk took approximately an hour...we had a lot of catching up to-do after my long absence.
7 a.m: Shawn's "typical" breakfast. Usually he makes a sandwich (a favorite meal). He gets his morning news and sports updates from FOX news and ESPN.
7:30 a.m: Shawn and I are on Success call #5 with our management company. I feel more motivated on following my dreams and working towards them following the call.
8:00 a.m: Ella watching daddy shave. Spending quality time together.

8:45 a.m: Our babysitter Katelyn, whom the babies and Evie LOVE, arrives so we can take a 3rd look at a house we are considering purchasing.
9 a.m: Two views from the master "suite" on the second floor. This is one of my favorite features of this house...can't you just see the scrapbook room potential. Also room for Evie's "kitchen" and toddler toys. Evie loves the house but is sad to learn that the toys in the house would not stay with the house;0)
10 a.m: Shawn is off to work and I mix up the day's goat's milk formula. I add 15oz of whole goat's milk so that we can transition to whole milk instead of formula. Babies are "down" for naps.
10:20 a.m: Grant has a 20 minute tantrum. I try to comfort him but he insists on refusing to nap and kicking and wailing. Finally goes to sleep and rests a whopping 20 minutes. Looks tired until his next nap.
11 a.m: She must be going through a growth spurt as all I hear all day is "I'm hungry." She really wants pudding but has to settle for a banana.
12 p.m: Shawn has an Ambassadors meeting at Perkins to discuss new businesses. This is his jacket for his ambassador calls and lunches. On his lapel is his one year pin. I love that he is involved in welcoming new businesses...we've been there too!
12:30 p.m: Since we are working to purchase our first home, I've been a little obsessed with HGTV. My favorite shows are House Hunters, My First Place, Property Virgins and Design on a Dime. See a theme?? It's an entertaining way to educate myself and it's kid-friendly viewing.
1:30 p.m: Both Shawn and I spend a lot of time on our computers. Shawn emailing and working on marketing. I am updating my blog, balancing our checkbook and writing up the specifics of my dream for our management consultant.
2 p.m: The babies new favorite "hangout," either at this window or in our living room. This is a highlight of the day. Outside of the occasional attack on each other, there is a lot of "talking" going on. So great to see them interacting and playing with each other. This is one of the things we thought would be the best about having triplets.
2:30 p.m: Dear friends and family, instead of spending lots of $$ on fun, educational toys the babies would rather play with plastic cups and paper.
Evie spent about an hour tracing her letters while I was on the computer. Love this book we purchased at the book fair at her school. Definitely worth the $$.
5:20 p.m: The babies dinner.
6:00 p.m: While enjoying their evening milk the babies were entertained by big sister stomping on the floor in her dress-up princess shoes. Grant especially thought she was a riot.

6:30 p.m: All wanting to be held at the same time. Not productive as they are too big for this and they climb over each other.
7:15 p.m: About 2 days worth of garbage for our family. For the record 2 of them were boxes from the birthday gifts. 2 were diaper pails-I did change at least 7 doodies. A downside to triplets.
7:30 p.m: Playing peek-a-boo. She hasn't figured out how to cover the eyes but she really enjoys it!
8 p.m: For mommy-daddy-Evie time we played hide-n-seek. She is counting here while we "hide." She's supposed to count to 10 but here she is saying, "14...15..."
I thought this was an ingenious hiding spot (it's not easy to hide in our house) but my dog Toby gives me away every time because he's standing right there staring at me. Grr!
