Silly Saturday

Some recent videos of the "babies," including our first walker. Ella loves to walk and does so all the time except after she falls over. She then crawls to any piece of furniture to help her get back up. Enjoy! And for anyone reading this for birthday location news, we don't close/move to our new house til the 8th. Therefore, the party will be held at our "old" house. Evie's last party here...kind of sad. Ok, we're over it!! Can't wait till next week!!!!!!






P.S Do not judge us by our messy kitchen...we're moving AND we have 4 kids...so there! :)

Silly Saturday

Does anyone else have this problem?? Evelyn is CONSTANTLY putting her babies/dolls/barbies/animals to sleep EVERYWHERE! It's a huge problem as they can sometimes take over our couches {as was the case here}, her bed, our floors, and anywhere else she finds to put them. Not only do they require quiet but if {heaven forbid} you move them or anything near them...be prepared for melt-down city. You can see she is also a good mama giving them {each} a bedtime story and covering them with a blankets. The triplets don't, of course, understand they're sleeping and disturb their blankets. We've had a few pre-school tantrums from Evie trying to make her understand she has to either be ok {yeah right} with them pulling them off the couches OR take them to her room. Neither answer is acceptable to her {of course!}. One day this complicated concept will sink in that {said slowly and with emphasis} "they are babies!" I imagine this will be the same time she is dealing with an almost 4 year old herself.

This was Henry's version of clapping a week before he finally accomplished the real task. He was doing this in response to daddy clapping and while Ella and Grant copied daddy.

Evie is most imaginative. Today when she didn't have a phone handy to make her calls she used the next best thing...her Styrofoam cup. So silly!

Isn't that what childhood is really all about? Being a child, exploring and being silly? Evie is by definition silly, which is how she gained her nickname: Monkey. So, to give you some weekend humor, and to show off our little Monkey, I've declared this and future Saturdays "Silly Saturday."
